| I drift out of a dream to the sound
of your footsteps shuffling across my room. You collapse beside me, arm
draped across my back, face buried in my neck. Covering my shoulders
and face with kisses, whispering to me, awakening me further. I've been dreaming about you coming to me tonight and I drift, wondering if I'm still asleep. I almost resist as you pull me onto my back, not wanting to move. Feeling your mouth brush over my eyelashes, your tongue kissing the dreams on my lips, your body covering me, keeping me warm. I feel my mind start to slip deeper into sleep. Your kisses like dragonflies, dance across my cheeks. Seeing nothing in the darkness of my dreams, but for your smiling eyes watching me in the night. |
