This will be the only text file in this directory that
is readable online!  My plain-text stoy files are 
intended to be downloaded and read using a text editor
or word processor that word-wraps.  Since web-browsers
don't wrap, you will find that in your browser, each
paragraph will appear as a single line.  If you want to
read one of my stories online, read the web version, 
which may occasionally contain an illustration.  As the
archive grows, I will gather groupings of stories into 
Zip files for easy download and storage.  My recommend-
ation  is that you download an archive file, unpack it 
and read the stories, then delete the ones that don't 
do anything for you and re-archive the rest.

My stories are written to suit my taste.  They are not 
intended to reflect reality.  On the contrary, the 
stories are supposed to be an escape from realiy, a 
hiding place for those who have no refuge in the real 
world for their deepest desires, which their decent 
hearts will never allow them to express in real life. 
Such loving souls will always be welcome at my table.

Please have the decency and loving-kindness to respect 
an author's right to control his work.  I don not 
object to these stories being shared among friends but
I hope I will always be given credit for my own work. 
kPlease include the correct "by" line and copyright 
notice with every story, and never allow readers to 
be charged for access to them.  If you archive these 
stories on another site, please use the feedback form 
on the ASSTR website to let me know where to find it.  
And do use the feedback form to let me know how the 
stories make you feel.  If I can make someone feel 
good, it makes my day, but I'll never know unless you
tell me.
