My Undead Girlfriend

Hi there! This story has been temporarily removed from my website and I'll tell you why.
I wrote "My Undead Girlfriend" for SOL's Halloween themed writing contest this past October 2011 and by a strange quirk of fate I ended up taking the third place prize. Originally, I scored only high enough for fourth place, which means I didn't win anything and my name wasn't in lights and I had to congratulate the winners, which I didn't mind too much. The nice thing about not placing in the top three was that I could post my story anywhere I wanted, like right here, for example. I love posting and I love my web site, in case you didn't know, and any chance I have to combine the two...
Anyway, a few days later I received an email from the site administrator telling me I'd won third place because someone got disqualified. Under the rules of the contest, the winners can't post their stories anyplace else for a specific period of time. So, I had to remove the story and post this explanation instead. See?
When the period of SOL exclusivity expires, in May 2012, I believe, I'll put the story back up on my website and you can be properly and thoroughly amazed by my unique abilities. Thanks for checking in and I apologize for the inconvenience. - rr 26 Nov 2011
