At least in this regard they were like a pair of normal newborns. Fel couldn't deny that these two girls really were exceptionally cute beings. Except that Aras' body was still emitting fire, even when she was asleep. Elza looked at her red-skinned daughter wistfully. But there was no way in which she could get close to her without getting burned. She consoled herself with sticking close to Alyn, who herself couldn't get enough of her young mother. Before long, Elza fell asleep embraced by her daughter. She hadn't slept at all this night, just like Liry and Fel. But these two had no intention of going to sleep. Not as long as there was a vicious demon in the bedroom. Not as long as the battle outside was still going on. This situation continued until around noon. By then, the rebels seemed to have settled there internal disputes. One could hear them from far away. Fel walked over to the hole that Salanya had ripped into the bedroom wall and looked outside. What she saw there was an army. An army of the poor and the downtrodden. People of all ages had joined this mob, armed with knives, clubs, pitchforks, scythes, flails, ... They had brought every tool that could be used to kill a person. Many people's clothes were drenched in blood- either their own or the blood of those they had killed already. Even the rebels seemed to be tired of the fighting by now. They wanted to end this. If the city council was eliminated, there was no one around anymore who could hold them accountable for the things they had done. Maybe then the bloodshed would finally end. That was why they were heading for Liry's mansion right now. There was no way of knowing how many councilor's homes they had already raided on this day. The few dozens of soldiers who were guarding the mansion were looking minuscule in comparison to the vast mass of attackers. There was no doubt that all of them would be killed if they fought against the rebel army. Maybe even if they surrendered, their lives wouldn't be spared. Liry also took a look at this frightening number of attackers. This whole situation was like a nightmare coming true. With trembling hands she looked over to Fel. "Shouldn't you get down there and fight them?" Fel looked at her friend as if she was crazy. "What do I look like to you? What you need here is not an assassin but a fucking bomb!" Liry was seized with panic when she realized that Fel might just refuse to fight. She looked over to Salanya who didn't seem to be interested in the commotion outside. Should she really ask this crazy devil for help? The one who had nailed her to the wall a few hours ago? Liry couldn't help but feeling that there were way too many people around her who were willing to kill her. Aras opened her eyes and looked around as if she had sensed something. "Hatred. Fear. Blood lust..." Fel looked at the child in amazement. "Hey, devil, your child knows quite some words..." Something seemed to have really agitated Aras. She looked at her mother Salanya with pleading eyes. "Can I go outside, mama?" she asked as if she wanted to go playing. Salanya smiled and nodded. "Of course you can." Fel didn't understand the details but something strange was definitely going on. Aras seemed to be really happy that her mother gave her permission to have fun. She spread her wings. Both Elza and her sister Alyn had woken up by now. They looked at Aras in drowsiness and confusion. But there was nothing that could've stopped her anymore. In one swift movement, she took off and flew outside through the hole in the wall. Aras was a lot faster in the air than Salanya and she flew as agilely and gracefully as a hawk. Alyn ran to the hole in the bedroom wall to look after her winged sister. "Woah..." A little later, Elza was standing there too, watching her flying daughter in awe. Aras circled around the rebel army a few times and then made a dive for them. It happened so quickly that the rebels didn't have time to prepare for it at all. Neither was there any preparation that would've helped them against Aras' attack. While Aras descended, the flames around her body quickly grew to the point where she looked like one big fireball. Her attack was nothing short of earth-shattering. Aras touched the ground in a fiery explosion. Merciless walls of flames spread themselves out in all directions until literally all of the rebel army was on fire. Clothes and air caught fire first, then the women's skin and flesh started the burn. They screamed at the top of their lungs when they realized the excruciating pain from which there was no escape. When they breathed in, the air was so hot that it burned their insides. Within a few heartbeats, the rebels were reduced from living human beings to disgusting charred lumps of black flesh. When the fire finally went out a few hours later, only a field of bones was left of the rebel army that had tried to seize Liry's mansion. But right now, there was still a gigantic fire raging. Of the spectators, Alyn was the only one who was not completely dumbstruck by this display of Aras' mass destruction capabilities. She cheerfully waved to her sister who seemed to enjoy herself while laying waste to the rebel army. Aras returned the waving as soon as she saw her sister standing where the balcony used to be. Fel spat out. "Well, Liry... there you have your fucking bomb. If these are her abilities on the first day of her life, I really don't want to meet her when she's grown up." Liry couldn't say anything. Elza tried to be steadfast for a while, then she ultimately dropped to her knees and vomited all over the outer wall of Liry's mansion. Seeing such merciless mass murder being performed by her own daughter was too much for her. She guessed that Aras might have done it to protect her, but still... what had unfolded in front of her was basically hell on earth. After waving to her sister, Aras made an artistic turn and flew away towards the center of Nargath. In the distance, Fel and Liry could see the bright flashes of explosions and after a while, smoke rising from more and more places. Nargath was burning for the second time in only three days, but this time only a single being was responsible for it. Liry couldn't avert her bloodshot eyes from it. Sure, she had survived the rebels' attack, but what would happen to her when word got out that the winged being who had set the town on fire had come out of her bedroom? She really didn't want to know. Elza turned around and faced Salanya with tears in her eyes. "Why is she doing this? Make her stop, please!" Salanya didn't understand what the ruckus was all about. "No chance in hell. And even if I would try, there's no way in which I could stop her. Our daughter Aras is just doing the one thing she was born for: Setting the world on fire." Although she was still a child, Elza realized something. Back then when the demon had entered the bedroom for the first time, the only sane choice would have been to kill herself. Getting involved with a creature from hell would always bring bigger misery. Not only had Elza's weakness caused countless human beings to be incinerated. It had also cost Elza her immortal soul. She knew now that she would descend to the very hell from which Salanya had came. And her punishment would not be ordinary, but an especially cruel and horrifying one. Excruciating and eternal, so it was written. Liry knew that she had to make a decision quickly. She took Elza's hand. "Let us leave the town, Elza. There's nothing left for us to be gained here. Let's take Alyn with us. We'll have to find a home in another place." But Elza slowly shook her head. "I'm not going anywhere. I'll wait here for the return of my child." Liry felt sick. The thought of leaving Elza alone was probably the most horrible thing she could think of, but was it really worse than dying? She looked at her wife with pleading eyes. "This could very well mean our death, you know? Do you really want to die here, Elza?" But the little girl with the lilac hair didn't budge. "If I die, then so be it. This is my daughter, Liry. I have to take responsibility for her." Liry sighed the deepest and most sorrowful sigh of her life. "Alright. Let's wait." Aras' dark-skinned twin sister tugged at Fel's sleeve. "Hey. Nipple. Nipple. Nip-ple!" Fel groaned. "I see you learned a new word already..." Then she reluctantly unlaced her armor... What a strange and unusual group of people it was that was sitting on the steps at the entrance of Liry's mansion. It were two mothers and their daughter, also the wife of one of the mothers and a fifth person, a childhood friend of said wife and currently wet nurse for the child. Fires could be seen all over the town now. Aras had done a splendid job in fulfilling the prophecy so far. Once again, Fel felt depressed because she had met a being who was obviously stronger than her. And Aras was basically a newborn. Fel really felt like a lowlife. An insignificant rogue, wandering around aimlessly, always paying attention not to get into a fight with someone who had true power. She was scum, basically. What had happened to the girl of whom the people once had said that she would once be the strongest sword fighter in the whole world? Fel decided that she really had to pick up her training again. But she also knew very well that making resolutions was one thing and bringing them into reality a totally different matter... The sun was already close to setting when the winged demon made its appearance, fluttering above Liry's vast garden. Salanya grinned complacently, her arms folded in front of her gigantic boobs. "You've been a very girl good girl today, Aras..." But before Aras could fly into her mother's arms, something hit her. She let out a shriek and fell to the ground. A white arrow stuck in her right butt cheek. Fel knew very well who this arrow belonged to. A heartbeat later, a second arrow hit the little demon's other ass cheek. Aras cried out in pain. She tried to turn around to face the unknown enemy when a third arrow hit her head, completely going through it. Aras staggered. Then another arrow hit her chest, piercing her heart. Aras' power was broken. She collapsed. Still, another dozen of arrows came at her in rapid succession, mostly hitting her ass. Elza charged towards her shot child. "Nooo! Don't hurt my baby!" When she reached Aras, she didn't care about the flames anymore. Elza embraced her daughter for the first time. There seemed to be no more life in her body, but it was still so hot that it scorched Elza's clothes and skin. It was the most painful experience of her life in many ways. Elza cried pitifully. "Don't... Don't take her away from me..." Another white arrow hit Aras' back, piercing her heart a second time and also completely penetrating Elza's chest. She was dead immediately. Liry and also Alyn wanted to run towards the bodies of Elza and Aras, but Fel held both of them back with an iron grip around their arms. "Fools! Do you want to die too?" Liry looked at Fel with desperate eyes. "Can't you do something about this?" But there was someone else who was already going to do something about it. There was not a trace of sadness to be found on Salanya's face. Only hate. She gnashed her teeth. "You've really done it this time, angel..." Fel had also spotted the sniper in the meanwhile. The Syndicate Angel was standing on the rooftop of a tall building opposite of Liry's mansion that once had been a university. Salanya spread her mighty black wings and charged at her, fortifying herself to smash this accursed heavenly being. But Nariel wasn't alone. When Salanya reached the university's roof, she was confronted by a different person. Salanya saw a flash of dark-green hair, she saw a black cape and then she saw a pair of double-sided daggers. With the very first slash, Dunia cut off Salanya's gigantic tits. The unreal breasts slumped to the floor like a sack of potatoes and left two huge gaping wounds on Salanya's chest. Salanya had no time to counter-attack. She didn't even have time to scream. With another two slashes, Dunia cut the demon's rib cage into pieces. The attacks were performed with such artistic precision that Salanya's heart basically fell out by itself. Salanya thought of grabbing it, but before she could even raise her arms, Dunia's daggers cut the heart into at least a dozen pieces. Salanya froze in place, staring at the floor. There lay her giant breasts and amidst them the bloody chunks of her heart. Dunia let her suffer the sight for a few moments, then she cut off the demon's huge cock and finally also her head. As ever, Nariel's face didn't show a lot of emotions when she thanked Dunia for getting rid of this attacker. Dunia smiled contentedly while she wiped the demon's blood off her daggers. "No problem, Nari. Say, now that you're done with your mission, can we finally leave this town?" She gave the naked angel a quite seductive look. "I want to show you a much nicer place..." Nariel ignored her lover's advances for now and took a look at the fire-demon she had just shot. "My mission is done when she is dead." Just by then, fire burst out of Aras' dying body. A pillar of soaring flames went up to the sky and into the ground below, shaking the earth in a wide area around. A little later, nothing but smoke and smoldering debris was to be found at the place where Aras had died and the flames had dug into the ground. Dunia put her hand on Nariel's shoulder, but a little later it slid down to the Syndicate Angel's naked ass. "I think it's safe to say that she's dead. Let's get away from here."
