You spend the rest of the group session telling the inmates about what is consent. You talk about the dangers of alcohol and underage drinking. You feel like you have said really important words of wisdom. The inmates look very bored.
One says "so you are telling me, that whenever someone doesn't ask first, that is rape?"
"well, no, but if it is a stranger, I think you want to make things clear."
"What like in writing?", another inmates say "Man, she aint never been to the club" and "Dis bitch don't know nuthin".
Dr Tickle intervenes, "Calm down now. I think she was just saying that if you don't get clear continued consent you may end up spending your mornings in a group with me. I think she has the evidence to support that. I also think it is time to finish. Thank you all for your contribution."
When the inmates leaves he says to you. This is not to teach them by saying, this is for them to gain insight into what they did and how that affects others. But I think you did fine. Good day."
