Not giving another thought to Igor, you start a conversation with a guy named Howard. He is a very well spoken man. His voice is almost hypnotic. After talking for a while he asks for a favor.

"It does get lonely in here. I think what gets to me most is that I cannot write to friends and family from here. I just wish there was a way that I could get letters out to them. Or even get some of their letters to me."

"I could talk to someone, I am sure they would be reasonable?" you offer.

"Oh no. I wouldn't ask that of you. I have asked many times for that simple privilege, but to no avail. If you asked it would only cause trouble for you. I just wish there was another way."

The conversation takes a different direction, but you remember his words.
